Film details

Julka is 12 years old, attends a boarding school, and has never had a real friend. When the summer comes, she goes to stay with her aunt in Warsaw instead of going to back to her parents’ home in Canada. It is certainly shaping up to be a boring summer … However, the same building where her aunt lives is also home to a pleasant if slightly absent-minded boy named Olek and his cheerful dog, Pulpet. One day, a map marking the location of a mysterious treasure falls into their hands. But a gang of thieves and a mysterious candy eater are also the trail. Things start to get more and more confusing, however, especially since nobody is who they claim to be, and the race against time continues.

In addition to sensational child actors, the film also stars Roma Gąsiorowska, Piotr Głowacki, Jadwiga Jankowska-Cieślak, Maria Maj, and Krzysztof Stroiński. The script for the film was developed during the Kids Film.PRO workshop organized by the New Horizons Association’s Education Department.
