The premiere of “Fucking Bornholm” directed by Anna Kazejak is taking place today at the Mastercard Off Camera International Festival of Independent Cinema. The main characters of the film – beautiful, forty years old and in crisis – will experience a May Day Picnic that is far from idyllic. Watch trailers of the film.
What is the genesis of “Fucking Bornholm”? – The idea was born from the lives and observations of my friends. I’ve traveled on vacations in RVs and trailers and I have many good and some bad memories associated with it. At some point, there also came a time when our relationship began to shake on its foundations and some of the situations that viewers will see in the film took place during our trips. So, what inspired me to write the script was the life – mine and my friends’. – says director and co-screenwriter Anna Kazejak.
