WILD
Premiere 02.01.2026
Movie description
The story of THE WILD takes the audience to a world where myth and history intertwine – the mysterious, majestic Carpathians of the 17th century. At the centre of the story stands a half-wild, mute warrior – raised by both animals and mountain people. His fate is intertwined with the brutal mission of an imperial inquisitor, who unleashes a bloody revenge under the pretext of recovering stolen papal insignia. Against the backdrop of the monumental mountains, a duel between two worlds is born – nature and civilisation, freedom and fanaticism, instinct and power.
This is the first film in the history of Polish cinema to be shot in large format using the ARRI ALEXA 65 mm camera – a legendary tool used by the creators of world superproductions such as “Diuna”, “Oppenheimer” and “Dunkirk”.
Preview screenings already December 2025.
