‘The Altar Boys’ is the story of a group of teenage altar boys from a block-long parish who, armed with youthful rebellion and their own interpretation of the Bible, decide to bug… the confessional. Disguised like Zorro and with Robin Hood-like ambitions, they become judges in their neighbourhood world, helping those in need and meting out punishment for sins. However, their mission turns into a dangerous game when the line between good and evil begins to blur.
The film combines superhero motifs with the reality of the Polish countryside – but instead of capes, the heroes wear cameos.
