GRANDPA, WE’RE BLOWING!
Premiere 09.05.2025
Movie description
One day, Jeremi’s grandfather causes such a commotion in the retirement home that he is threatened with transfer to a psychiatric hospital. Marta, his daughter, agrees to take him in, although she finds this difficult, as Jeremi is unpredictable and has a vivid imagination. The situation is complicated by Jagoda, Marta’s daughter, who adores her grandfather and shares his crazy ideas. When Jeremi refuses to move in with the family, Jagoda decides to take matters into her own hands. The girl and the grandfather embark on an adventurous journey to the legendary ship Light of the Sea. They are chased by a gang of villains led by Waldemar, a rich man, and Jagoda’s terrified mother. And a dragon follows them, too.
– This is a film for kids who like to listen to their grandparents’ stories all the time, for grandparents who like to inspire and for parents who pretend that nothing bothers them,” says the film’s director, Olga Chajdas.
