A love stronger than history, a freedom stronger than fear. We present the first official poster for “Our Revolution”, directed by Piotr Domalewski. The film about the life, love and shared struggle of Gajka and Jacek Kuroń opens in cinemas on 11 November 2026.
The poster photograph was taken by Anna Włoch, the title logotype was created by Gabriela Słomińska, and the poster was designed by Daniel Jaroszek.
“Our Revolution” is a feature film inspired by the story of Grażyna and Jacek Kuroń. At the heart of the tale is their relationship — full of tenderness, mutual support and faith that together they could change the world. It is the story of two people who committed themselves to the fight for freedom and democratic change in Poland, paying a high personal price for their choices. The film shows the birth of the democratic opposition, the activities of the Workers’ Defence Committee and the repressions of the communist authorities, but it tells of them above all through the prism of emotion, everyday life and the characters’ relationship.
The film’s theatrical release is planned for 11 November 2026 — a symbolic date for a story about freedom, civic responsibility and the people who helped forge Poland’s road to democracy.
