He is the chronicler of the nightmare in a city where everyone believes their American dream will come true. But there are stories Wren will never write up for his readers – the ones he takes part in himself. Like the story of the body of a brilliant film director found in a building slated for demolition. When the young widow (Yvonne Strahovski) entrusts Wren with the key to her husband’s secret video archive, the journalist has no idea that he has just become the protagonist of one of his own sensational columns. The contents of the tapes will lead him into the very heart of the media empire he himself is part of.
