Millions have fallen in love with Waldka, Staszek and Delfina. Now the cult series returns with its most important message yet: how to survive an avalanche of online hate? “Too Big for Fairy Tales 3”, directed by Kristoffer Rus, is an emotional and humorous tale about the mistakes we make and the courage to put them right. The film hits cinemas on 6 March 2026.

Can a single malicious online comment destroy a relationship with someone close to you? This time, the filmmakers tackle one of the most important issues for today’s teenagers: online hate. “Too Old for Fairy Tales 3” is not just entertainment, but also an important voice in the discussion about digital hygiene
and online responsibility. It is a family film which, whilst maintaining humour and light-heartedness, genuinely supports parents and children in the digital world. The film opens in cinemas on 6 March 2026.

Following the success of the previous instalments, which became box-office and streaming hits, director Kristoffer Rus and screenwriter Agnieszka Dąbrowska present a more mature story that still resonates with young audiences. The characters familiar from the previous instalments return to the screen — Waldek is joined by Delfina and Staszek, played by Maciej Karaś, Amelia Fijałkowska and Patryk Siemek.

What is “Too Big for Fairy Tales 3” about? Chaos reigns at Waldek’s (Maciej Karaś) house, and his gaming team is in crisis. On a whim, the boy posts a malicious comment online, unwittingly triggering an avalanche of hate directed at Delfina (Amelia Fijałkowska). When the situation spirals out of control and begins to threaten his friend’s safety, Waldek must face his toughest opponent: his own fear and a mistake he cannot bring himself to admit.

In my view, Waldek’s biggest challenge in this part will be
facing the consequences of his own actions. He isn’t aware of what online abuse can sometimes lead to, and he’ll try to make amends for his mistake on his own
– says Maciej Karaś.

We’ll once again see a star-studded cast on screen: Karolina Gruszka, Dorota Kolak and Paweł Domagała. Dorota Pomykała and Borys Szyc are also joining the world of *Too Old for Fairy Tales*.

Karolina Gruszka, who plays Waldek’s mum, highlights the growth of the young actors: ‘Working with Maciek, Patryk and Amelka over the past three years has been an incredibly fascinating journey. Today, they are young, self-aware actors who understand the meaning of the story being told.’
