Dante and the gang will once again prove that school is much more than cramming and required reading. Today we present the new trailer for the film. In the third instalment of the cult series, the final-year class gets put through the wringer — by one another, by their teachers and by reality. “F*ck Mickiewicz 3” — the film fans across Poland have been waiting for — hits cinemas on 13 February, and pre-sale tickets for Valentine’s weekend are available from today.
“F*ck Mickiewicz 3” is a story about how difficult growing up has become in a world where everything happens faster than it used to. It is a film about young people who live somewhere between TikTok and their final exams — and are only just learning what maturity really means. How will the characters audiences have come to love cope with these challenges?
– The tone of the next instalment of “F*ck Mickiewicz 3” evolves because our characters are becoming more mature – says the film’s director Sara Bustamante-Drozdek. – In the third instalment, Dante, Nel, Korek, Cegła and the gang are already in their final year, standing on the threshold of adulthood, and for the first time in their lives they have to make decisions that will shape their future. It was crucial for me to keep the balance between youthful energy, and the humour that comes with it, and the more dramatic, serious situations that are inseparable from this stage of our characters’ lives.
– Dante is facing a new challenge – says Hugo Tarres – he has to decide what he wants to do in life and which direction to take. He worries about his friends and fears that university will break their crew apart.
Nel, played by Wiktoria Koprowska, is at a completely different point on the road to adulthood:
– A lot has changed. For the better. Above all, Nel has finally found herself, her own path, what she wants to do in life. She has found friends and opened up to the world. It is a beautiful transformation. She is extremely ambitious and knows what she wants. It is a beautiful journey to be able to grow up with such a valuable character, who at the beginning was an insecure girl. Now we can see her as a down-to-earth young woman who has a plan for herself and her life — while losing none of the charm and feistiness that audiences loved her for – says the actress.
On screen, alongside Hugo Tarres and Wiktoria Koprowska, we will once again see: Karol Rot, Igor Pawłowski, Krystian Embradora, Ada Grodzka, Aleksandra Izydorczyk and Artur Gwizdak. Joining the cast is Aleksander Idzi, who is making his big-screen debut. This is how the actor describes the character he plays:
– My character is someone who on the surface has everything under control, but inside is wrestling with a great deal of insecurity. She is intelligent, at times ironic, sometimes hiding her emotions behind a joke, but in truth she deeply craves acceptance and understanding. In this instalment we see her at a moment of an important breakthrough – says the actor.
The film also features Weronika Książkiewicz, Dawid Ogrodnik, Aldona Jankowska, Jarosław Gruda and Anna Szymańczyk.
