On Wednesday, 5 November, the Helios cinema in Warsaw hosted the gala premiere of “Believe in Santa 2” – the eagerly awaited sequel to the Christmas hit based on Magdalena Witkiewicz’s bestselling novel. The evening was full of emotion and smiles – a true pre-Christmas preview. From Friday, audiences all over Poland will be able to feel this extraordinary atmosphere for themselves, when “Believe in Santa 2” arrives on cinema screens.
The gala premiere was attended by the filmmakers, including director Anna Wieczur, co-screenwriter and author of the book Magdalena Witkiewicz, and the cast: Dorota Kolak, Mateusz Janicki, Aleksandra Grabowska, Grzegorz Daukszewicz, Teresa Lipowska, Marta Lipińska, Elżbieta Starostecka, Krystyna Tkacz, Ewa Szykulska, Dorota Stalińska, Izabella Olejnik, Michalina Sosna, Mikołaj Roznerski, Jadwiga Basińska, Wiktoria Nowak. Also present were Bracia Golec – not only actors in this story, but also the creators of the song promoting it, “Wesel się świecie”.
“Believe in Santa 2” is a film that brings generations together; the production highlights the importance of closeness and family bonds, which is why a special spot with a postbox awaited all the premiere guests, where they could send a traditional card with their wishes. After the screening, the evening was crowned by a performance from Lina and Andrzej Kochański, who sang iconic Christmas hits.

ABOUT THE FILM
Just before Christmas, Ania and Robert get married and leave for a short honeymoon. Zosia stays in the care of Grandma Sabinka, but when the grandmother is suddenly taken to hospital, the girl sets off to the other end of Poland to find the real Santa Claus. Meanwhile, the wicked stepmother Aldona dreams of a career as a TV star, and a mysterious Aleksander appears at the “Happy End” Retirement Home…
