Great success for NEXT FILM at the 50th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia

The 50th anniversary Polish Film Festival in Gdynia proved extremely lucky for the films distributed by NEXT FILM.

The biggest winner of the festival was ‘Ministers’, directed by Piotr Domalewski – the film won as many as 8 awards, including the most important statuette: Golden Lions for Best Film. The jury and the audience also appreciated the script and editing of the film, as well as the strength of its message – as evidenced by the Audience Award, the Award of Festivals and Reviews of Polish Film Abroad, the Award of the Association of Studio Cinemas and the Radio Gdańsk “Golden Clapper” Award and the Golden Kangaroo – the Award of Australian Film Distributors.

The award for Best Sound for the film ‘Wielka Warszawska ‘ is also a huge source of pride – confirming the artistry and professionalism of the creators of this unique project.

👉 ‘The Great Warsaw’ will hit cinemas on 23 January 2026.
