The most important christening since 966 AD? Watch the brand-new trailer for “The In-Laws 3”!

Two hit films, hundreds of thousands of viewers, dozens of iconic scenes. The In-Laws return in a third installment – bolder, brasher, and even more… family-focused. The full trailer for The In-Laws 3 has just debuted online. The comedy will hit cinemas across Poland on September 12. The cast once again includes Izabela Kuna, Adam Woronowicz, Maja Ostaszewska, and – back after a break – Marcin Dorociński.

SACRAMENTAL YES TO FAMILY CHAOS

The new trailer proves that no celebration is too sacred to end in epic disaster. When Wanda (Izabela Kuna), Tadeusz (Adam Woronowicz), Małgorzata (Maja Ostaszewska), and Andrzej (Marcin Dorociński) gather under one roof, one thing is certain: not even a holy sacrament can prevent a full-blown family earthquake. Add Grażyna (Magdalena Popławska) and Marek (Wojciech Mecwaldowski) to the mix and this christening quickly turns into a baptism by fire.

The previous In-Laws films were a box office and critical success in Poland, winning over audiences and critics alike. Director Kuba Michalczuk, who helmed the first installment, returns for part three:

“This film reveals unexpected sides of the characters – not only to the audience but to the actors themselves. If you thought things were intense before, let me just say: the quiet part is over. Now, it’s time for the real battle,” says Michalczuk.

The screenwriter behind all three installments is Marek Modzelewski, who once again offers a razor-sharp take on modern family dynamics – wrapped in biting comedy:

“Who hasn’t experienced a family showdown? The idea for a christening came naturally, especially since the second film ends with the reveal that Weronika is pregnant. And after all, nothing bonds these characters like the chaos involving their children,” says Modzelewski.

🎭 What does the cast have to say about The In-Laws 3?

Adam Woronowicz:

“In part three, Tadeusz speaks when he shouldn’t and stays silent when he should speak. And Wanda always knows best. Still, they can’t live without each other. Together or apart – classic story. Their relationship is a mix of tension and attachment.”

Maja Ostaszewska:

“The power of The In-Laws lies in its shifting moods and tones. There are no black-and-white characters. The story juggles serious and comedic elements, and the perspective changes like a kaleidoscope. Each scene gains strength from what came before.”

The return of Marcin Dorociński as Andrzej, and the addition of new standout characters, signal that The In-Laws 3 isn’t planning to tone things down. Quite the opposite – as Hitchcock famously said, “It starts with an earthquake and the tension keeps rising.” That’s not a metaphor here – it’s the game plan.

🎞️ PRE-PREMIERE SCREENINGS

The film is set to premiere in cinemas on September 12, but audiences will have the chance to see it early at summer film festivals. The first preview screening will take place on July 2 at the Tofifest International Film Festival in Toruń, followed by a Q&A with Maja Ostaszewska and Wojciech Mecwaldowski.

THE IN-LAWS 3

In the third installment of the hit comedy series The In-Laws, the same chaotic family reunites for a christening in a quiet countryside resort. Wanda and Tadeusz are organizing the event, inviting Małgorzata and her friend – therapist Grażyna. Małgorzata’s ex-husband, Andrzej, shows up too – all the way from Australia, and this time, he’s not alone. Old conflicts and new entanglements quickly spiral out of control – with the local police getting involved.

The In-Laws 3 proves that even a christening can become a battleground – and that nothing divides a family quite like… a holy sacrament.
