The gala premiere of the family film “Grandpa, Let’s Go!”, directed by Olga Chajdas, took place in Warsaw. The evening was devoted to nurturing family bonds, sparking the imagination and talking about emotions. The event brought together the film’s creators and invited guests. The red carpet welcomed the film’s creators, including director Olga Chajdas, screenwriter Emil Płoszajski and composer Smolik, as well as cast members: Anna Nowak, making her big-screen debut, Jan Peszek, Wiktor Zborowski and Włodzimierz Press.

“Grandpa, Let’s Go!” arrives on cinema screens across Poland on 9 May. And from the day of release, the film will be available with audio description, which can be used via the Audiomovie and Kino Dostępne apps.
THE CREATORS OF “GRANDPA, LET’S GO!”
The role of Jagoda is a debut for Anna Nowak. Her grandfather Jeremi is played by Jan Peszek, and her mother by Agnieszka Grochowska. The cast also includes Michał Majnicz, Włodzimierz Press, Wiktor Zborowski, Sonia Roszczuk, Filip Tkaczyk and Klementyna Lamort De Gail.
The film is directed by Olga Chajdas. The screenplay was written by Emil Płoszajski. Cinematography is by Bartosz Bieniek. The film is produced by Małgorzata Małysa and Karolina Galuba of Furia Film. Distribution is handled by NEXT FILM. synopsis:
One day, Grandpa Jeremi causes such a commotion at his retirement home that he risks being transferred to a psychiatric hospital. His daughter Marta agrees to take him in, although it is hard for her, because Jeremi is unpredictable and has a vivid imagination. Things are complicated by Jagoda, Marta’s daughter, who adores her grandfather and shares his crazy ideas. When Jeremi refuses to live with the family, Jagoda decides to take matters into her own hands. The girl and her grandfather set off on an adventure-filled journey to the legendary ship, the Light of the Sea. In pursuit are a gang of villains led by the wealthy Waldemar, and Jagoda’s terrified mum. Oh, and a dragon – a dragon sets off after them too.
