“In-Laws 3” is on the way, and the teaser offers a taste of the comedy tornado that hits the big screen on 12 September! Can a family christening turn into an arena for even bigger clashes than a wedding? Of course it can! Put Wanda, Małgorzata, Tadeusz and Andrzej in one room – and add new, no less colourful characters – and an explosive mix is guaranteed.

After the spectacular success of the first two instalments – “In-Laws” and “In-Laws 2” won the hearts of audiences and critics alike, ranking among the biggest Polish box-office hits – it is time for the next stage of the family war! The film is once again directed by Kuba Michalczuk, who made the first instalment of the hit. “In-Laws 3” guarantees an emotional rollercoaster, sparkling dialogue and humour that will appeal both to fans of the first two films and to those only just getting to know the characters’ family escapades.

This time, the characters come together for their granddaughter’s christening. Wanda (Izabela Kuna) and Tadeusz (Adam Woronowicz) are organising the celebration, to which they – reluctantly – invite Małgorzata (Maja Ostaszewska) and her friend, psychotherapist Grażyna (Magdalena Popławska). You might think things couldn’t get any worse… But Andrzej (Marcin Dorociński) returns to Poland, and he is not alone. A christening: in theory, a beautiful, warm family celebration. In practice? A battlefield where no one intends to give ground. Marcin Dorociński returns as Andrzej, who – as he himself admits – will once again stir up the family pot:

– I wouldn’t want to give away too much, so that viewers get a surprise. With Andrzej you never know, but if I had to bet, I’d say a storm at first, so that beautiful sunshine can follow. His return alone is an emotional earthquake, and the fact that he doesn’t arrive alone only raises the stakes – says the on-screen Andrzej.

NEW FACES, NEW INTRIGUES

Magdalena Popławska and Wojciech Mecwaldowski join the cast of “In-Laws 3”. Their characters – psychotherapist Grażyna and businessman Marek – only add fuel to the fire.

– Marek is an unbelievably positive-minded man. His ambitions are enormous – he would like to turn Poland into America, preferably by having us join as the next state – laughs Wojciech Mecwaldowski.

The screenplay is once again by Marek Modzelewski, who had no doubt that the next family showdown had to take place at a christening.

– Who among us has no experience of family clashes? A christening suggested itself, because in the final scene of the second film we learn that Weronika is pregnant. And after all, nothing unites our characters as much as the ups and downs involving their children – says the screenwriter.

The film’s theatrical release is scheduled for 12 September. “In-Laws 3” is an even wilder ride than the previous instalments! Once again, audiences are in for crazy plot twists, ironic dialogue and situations that may feel all too familiar to anyone who has ever attended a family party.

The film features a star-studded cast: Izabela Kuna as Wanda, Adam Woronowicz as Tadeusz, Maja Ostaszewska as Małgorzata. Marcin Dorociński returns as Andrzej. Joining the main four are Magdalena Popławska as Grażyna – Małgorzata’s friend and psychotherapist, Wojciech Mecwaldowski as Marek – a local businessman with ambitions of his own, and Joachim Lamża as Wanda’s father.

IN-LAWS 3

In the third instalment of the hit comedy “In-Laws”, we once again meet the family, who this time gather at a quiet countryside resort for a christening. Wanda and Tadeusz are hosting the celebration, to which they invite Małgorzata along with her friend, psychotherapist Grażyna. The gathering is also joined by Małgorzata’s ex-husband Andrzej, who flies in especially from Australia – and this time he is not alone. The atmosphere quickly spins out of control, and old conflicts and new romances lead to unexpected consequences – this time involving the local police!

“In-Laws 3” is a film that will prove that even a christening can turn into a family battlefield, and that even betrayal does not divide people as much as… a holy sacrament!
