“Graduation Heist” is a hit. The film has already drawn more than half a million viewers to cinemas

“Graduation Heist”, directed by Mikołaj Piszczan, has taken cinemas by storm. A funny and smart film for teenagers combining an important message with quality entertainment, after just ten days on screens it has already drawn 546,000 viewers to cinemas and reigns over the box office for yet another weekend.

“Graduation Heist” – a large-scale action comedy under the Ekipa banner that has already been seen by 546,000 cinemagoers – is Mikołaj Piszczan’s feature debut. And a successful one at that, as noted not only by audiences but also by critics.

The online creators have already appeared at more than 60 screenings and plan to visit more cinemas.

WHAT IS THE FILM “GRADUATION HEIST” ABOUT?

Kapsel is a final-year high-school party animal who cares far more about his tight-knit group of friends than about his school-leaving exams. When it dawns on him that finishing high school also means the break-up of his crew, he decides to derail everyone’s university plans and give them one more year of carefree fun together. To save his friends from the hardships of entering adulthood, he plans to hack into the Ministry of Education’s innovative IT system and change the exam results. For this audacious operation he recruits a group of students with the slimmest chances of passing their finals and… his long-unseen grandfather, a man full of questionable life wisdom. Will Kapsel’s brilliant plan succeed? Will the boy manage to change the course of events and keep his friends by his side?
