Monika Brodka surprises in a new role on the big screen! The artist has joined the cast of “Kleks and the Invention of Filip Shaver”, directed by Maciej Kawulski. She plays a robotic girl whose look required the use of special effects The result? Brodka was unrecognisable, which sparked speculation among fans and the media after the release of the film’s teaser poster. See the photos.
In “Kleks and the Invention of Filip Shaver”, the artist not only takes on an acting challenge but also lends the film a unique character, combining futuristic styling with a thrilling story. Her character, named Xela, will be a key figure in the plot of the second instalment of “Kleks Academy”. The special effects are the work of Human Film.
Monika Brodka is not the only star of the music scene whom audiences will see on the big screen. Katarzyna Nosowska will appear in another role.

“Kleks and the Invention of Filip Shaver” is an extraordinary journey into the world of imagination, where every experience gained and every skill acquired can become a weapon in the fight against the coming evil. This time Professor Kleks is forced to return to reality and confront a technology that threatens children’s dreams, while his place at the Academy is temporarily taken by the faithful bird Mateusz.
The story is full of remarkable questions: can Ada Niezgódka’s love for the robot Albert restore his human heart? Will Filip Shaver’s invention – tempting children with a vision of life without imagination – change their way of thinking forever? And does fantasy still have the power to defeat modern technology?

The leading roles are played by Tomasz Kot as Ambroży Kleks, Antonina Litwiniak as Ada Niezgódka and Konrad Repiński – Albert. The titular Filip Shaver is played by Janusz Chabior, while Sebastian Stankiewicz, as the bird Mateusz, keeps watch over the Academy.
The screenplay, on the basis of which director Maciej Kawulski was able to create the fairy-tale world of “Kleks and the Invention of Filip Shaver”, was written by Krzysztof Gureczny and Agnieszka Kruk. The film is produced by OPEN MIND PRODUCTION and distributed by NEXT FILM.
