“Supersisters” – Gala Premiere with the Stars

The gala premiere of “Supersisters”, directed by Maciej Barczewski, took place in Warsaw with the filmmakers and invited guests in attendance. The event was attended by, among others, Katarzyna Gałązka, Karolina Bruchnicka, Mateusz Kościukiewicz, Marek Kalita, Grzegorz Damięcki and Tymek Frączek. The gripping science fiction tale “Supersisters”, packed with action and special effects, opens in cinemas this Friday.

Talented rising stars and acclaimed actors. Special effects from the makers of such hits as “Aladdin” and Guy Ritchie’s “The Gentlemen”. All this could be admired by the audience at the premiere screening of “Supersisters”. Alongside the cast and crew, the red carpet welcomed numerous guests, among them the performers of the song promoting the film – Diiya and Faustyna Maciejczuk.

And what is “Supersisters” about? Teenage Ala (Katarzyna Gałązka) does not fit into the provincial world around her. She keeps rebelling and defying her father (Grzegorz Damięcki), a physics teacher at the local school. When Ala accidentally discovers that she has superpowers and meets her sister Lena (Karolina Bruchnicka), whose existence she never knew about, her life is turned upside down – quite literally. The girls, gifted with supernatural powers, are being tracked by the Colonel (Marek Kalita) and his dangerous associate Hektor (Mateusz Kościukiewicz) from the secret Department 92. The soldiers’ goal is to create a powerful new-generation weapon. To obtain it, they are prepared to sacrifice a great deal – even the sisters’ lives. Will Ala and Lena, after years apart, be able to join forces and work together? Will the supersisters come to the rescue not only of each other, but of the whole world?
