“The Ikea Generation”, an adaptation of the controversial bestseller of the same title, is a story about dating, sex – and love. The film is promoted by the song “Dopóki jesteś” performed by Leepeck – the video has just gone online. Meanwhile, a special premiere of the film is fast approaching, one that viewers and fans of Piotr C.’s book will also be able to attend. Tickets for the event with the filmmakers in attendance are available at the Helios cinema.

“Dopóki jesteś” is the first result of Leepeck’s collaboration with Kuba Galiński – a producer behind recordings by artists such as Dawid Podsiadło, Sanah and Mrozu. Leepeck continues his long-standing collaboration with the Agora Muzyka label. The song is available on streaming services: https://agoramuzyka.ffm.to/LeepeckDopoki.

THE IKEA GENERATION

Release date: 03.03.2023

genre: romance / comedy

SYNOPSIS:

Piotr Czarny is a charming thirty-something lawyer. He is forever chasing adrenaline, women and parties. He has set himself the goal of filling his list of lovers with a name for every letter of the alphabet. His plan is thrown into doubt when his work colleague Olga – the only woman he is completely honest with and does not sleep with – gives him an ultimatum.

Following this cynical, hedonistic protagonist, we plunge into a world of casual sex, quick dates and one-night stands served up by online apps. The film paints an unprudish portrait of people whom easy access to goods has taught that everything can be replaced cheaply and without a second thought – a computer, furniture, a flat, even a relationship.
