The characters of “F_cking Bornholm”, directed by Anna Kazejak, will find out that everything can, and that a single incident can set off a real avalanche. “F_cking Bornholm” touches on the theme of identity in times when the patterns we have known so far have ceased to matter. A relationship crisis, communication problems, weariness with the expectations of others. Sounds familiar, like material for the best memes and laughter through tears? Because that is exactly what it is.

Here is what Agnieszka Grochowska says about the film:

– What I liked and fascinated me most was that I would have the chance to play someone who, over the course of this strange, short trip to Bornholm, sets herself free. That is interesting because it is difficult – it seems to me that most of us never take up the fight to find out who we really are beyond the specific functions we perform for other people.

The “F_cking Bornholm” project has followed a unique path – first came the screenplay, on the basis of which an audio series was made (an Empik Bestseller). That, in turn, became the basis for a book and an audiobook. Finally, the feature film was shot, whose teaser we present today. All these incarnations are linked by the name of Anna Kazejak – co-writer of the screenplay, author of the book and director of the film version, who says of the project:

– I think the book, the audiobook, the audio series and the film are different elements which together can form a whole. But everyone can also take a piece for themselves and start exploring “F_cking Bornholm” from a different angle. They are complementary, not competing, and completely different.
