“Dial W for Murder” – star-studded premiere; the film hits cinemas on 18 June

Yesterday, 9 June, the gala premiere of “Dial W for Murder”, directed by Piotr Mularuk, took place in Warsaw with the filmmakers and invited guests in attendance. The event was attended by, among others, Anna Smołowik, Paweł Domagała, Rafał Królikowski, Dorota Segda and Olga Sarzyńska. The humorous, gripping crime comedy hits cinema screens across Poland on 18 June. Here are photos from the premiere.

The first audiences have already had the chance to see “Dial W for Murder”. Everyone else will have to be patient until 18 June, when the film, based on the book by Katarzyna Gacek and produced by Piotr Mularuk and Agnieszka Sieradzka, reaches the wider public.

About the film

A murder shakes the quiet town of Podkowa Leśna. The body of the victim, a young woman, is found by Magda, a homemaker and compulsive reader of crime fiction. The police investigation is led by Inspector Jacek Sikora. Unfortunately, he lacks the instincts of a born detective – Magda has them instead. When it turns out that the victim was wearing a pendant in the shape of the letter “W”, one that belonged to Magda’s long-lost friend, she decides to get to the bottom of the case on her own. And that means constantly meddling in the work of the hapless inspector. There are plenty of suspects and precious few clues. The trail leads to Podkowa’s most respected residents – and even to a Qatari sheikh… Will Magda and Sikora manage to uncover the truth and solve the mystery of the murder?
