What does every good detective need? A sixth sense! “Szósty zmysł” (“Sixth Sense”) is also the title of the song composed especially for the crime comedy “Dial W for Murder”. It is performed by Anna Smołowik, who plays the film’s main character. She is joined on screen by, among others, Paweł Domagała, Piotr Adamczyk, Rafał Królikowski, Dorota Segda, Szymon Bobrowski, Przemysław Bluszcz, Olga Sarzyńska and Jowita Budnik. The intriguing, funny and superbly acted “Dial W for Murder” hits cinemas on 18 June!

The film’s main character – a great lover of crime fiction who knows Agatha Christie’s works inside out – stumbles onto the trail of a mysterious case herself…
– Although recording a song was a completely new experience for me, I had a great time doing it! I hope that listeners, and later cinema audiences, will share similar emotions, says Anna Smołowik.
The lyrics to “Szósty zmysł” were written by Zuzanna Wrońska, and the music was composed by Marcin Macuk. The song was created especially for the film “Dial W for Murder”.
The film is directed and co-written by Piotr Mularuk. “Dial W for Murder” is based on Katarzyna Gacek’s book of the same title. The author is also the film’s co-screenwriter.

A murder shakes the quiet town of Podkowa Leśna. The body of the victim, a young woman, is found by Magda, a homemaker and compulsive reader of crime fiction. The police investigation is led by Inspector Jacek Sikora. Unfortunately, he lacks the instincts of a born detective – Magda has them instead. When it turns out that the victim was wearing a pendant in the shape of the letter “W”, one that belonged to Magda’s long-lost friend, she decides to get to the bottom of the case on her own. And that means constantly meddling in the work of the hapless inspector. There are plenty of suspects and precious few clues. The trail leads to Podkowa’s most respected residents – and even to a Qatari sheikh… Will Magda and Sikora manage to uncover the truth and solve the mystery of the murder?
