“Overclockers”, Michał Wnuk’s film about a young enthusiast and his fight for his dreams, hits cinemas on 23 October. Maciej Musiałowski plays the lead role. He is joined by, among others, Tomasz Włosok, Eryk Kulm jr, Pola Błasik, Iza Kuna and Andrzej Konopka. Today we present the trailer and the official poster of the film.
“Overclockers” is a look at the lives of today’s twenty-somethings and their collision with adulthood. Karol, a talented and enterprising 25-year-old, works part-time in the family business and runs his own promising venture. When his father, a flight instructor, dies in an accident, the burden of supporting the home and his mother falls on Karol’s shoulders. Together with his two best friends, he stakes everything on one card – he intends to build an innovative airship. When big money appears on the horizon, the young visionary quickly learns how many sacrifices running your own company demands. Karol will have to choose both his friends and his business partners carefully. Will he manage to succeed on his own terms?
– I found the character of Karol really intriguing. He is a young guy with dreams, with a vision, with a need to take charge of his own life. It is great that a film like this has been made. It seems to me that nowadays there are plenty of young people who, seeing that big wide world and so many possibilities on the Internet, long to make their dreams come true. And that is what I really like about this film – that consistent pursuit of one’s own passions. Huge applause to Michał Wnuk for creating such a beautiful story. – says lead actor Maciej Musiałowski.

Ahead of its release, “Overclockers” can be seen at a special screening during the Transatlantyk International Film Festival.
