A young German woman jumps off the tower of one of Wrocław’s churches. Commisioner Warski (Bartłomiej Topa), an experienced police officer, leads the investigation. Despite his protests, Ana Wittesch (Julia Kijowska), a German officer with Polish roots, is also assigned to the case. Warski does not know that Ana is in Wrocław also to conduct a second, secret investigation. It soon appears that Dr Kuntz, an emissary of The Vatican Bank, is heading to Wrocław as well. What is the connection between the suicide of a German student, Ana Witesch’ secret investigation, and the arrival of a messenger from Vatican? Before the mystery is solved, commissioner Warski and Ana Witesch must learn how to co-operate and trust each other. Meanwhile, another girl jumps off the tower of a church in Wrocław…
